Sequential Occupancy and Managed Queue Environments

A technical note on approach, recognition, entry, sequence, dwell, advancement and departure.

Scope

Queue Technologies treats waiting as a managed sequence of access conditions. The environment is evaluated through approach, recognition, entry, sequence, dwell, advancement and departure.

Method

MQT uses the PCP access envelope to test approach and return conditions. Meridian Ambient evaluates background continuity where recognition or dwell may be affected. Button & Interface reviews controls when a queue includes a human-initiated release, call or confirmation point.
